Spazio a tecnologie ibride, elettriche e vetture a idrogeno e fuel cell nel piano di medio termine di Kia Motors, fortemente caratterizzato dalla compatibilit\u00e0 ambientale e comprendente lo sviluppo e la produzione di un&#8217;estesa gamma di veicoli a basso impatto ambientale. La Green Car Roadmap del marchio coreano prevede che nel 2020 la gamma di vetture \u201cgreen\u201d sar\u00e0 completa e trasversale. L&#8217;impegno di Hyundai Motor Group si traduce in un investimento di 10,2 miliardi di dollari destinato allo sviluppo di modelli a basso impatto ambientale e la realizzazione di nuovi impianti destinati alla riduzione della produzione di CO2. \u201cIl mercato globale \u2013 dichiara Ki-Sang Lee, Senior Vice Presidente dell&#8217;Eco Friendly Vehicle R&amp;D Center di Kia Motors Corporation \u2013 \u00e8 sempre pi\u00f9 orientato perso i veicoli elettrici come alternativa alla futura crescita del prezzo del petrolio e la domanda di vetture elettriche e ibride plug-in \u00e8 prevedibilmente in grande crescita. Noi non crediamo che ci sia una sola soluzione per la risoluzione dei problemi relativi alle emissioni, per questo motivo guardiamo a un&#8217;ampia gamma di tecnologie pulite con le quali affrontare il periodo di transizione. Il piano annunciato da Kia ha l&#8217;ambizione di rendere il marchio leader globale nel settore delle propulsioni alternative\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Entro il 2020 la gamma dei veicoli &#8220;verdi&#8221; Kia passer\u00e0 da 4 a 11 modelli attraverso l&#8217;introduzione di nuovi propulsori e di tutte le tecnologie avanzate, ibride, ibride plug-in e fuel cell a idrogeno. Nel piano quinquennale di sviluppo rientra la produzione di una vettura elettrica a fuel cell nel 2020; per questo progetto Kia sta lavorando assieme a 300 aziende specializzate allo sviluppo di una nuova generazione di FCEV (Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle) destinata ai mercati globali. Si prevede che la futura Kia a idrogeno sar\u00e0 prodotta inizialmente in circa mille esemplari con la prospettiva di crescere in funzione dello sviluppo del mercato. Adotter\u00e0 una cella a combustibile (&#8220;stack&#8221;) di dimensioni paragonabili a quelle di un tradizionale motore 2.000 a combustione interna con potenza paragonabile e tutte le garanzie di durata e affidabilit\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>I tecnici Kia hanno in programma di sviluppare una nuova generazione di fuel cell pi\u00f9 efficiente del 5 per cento e con prestazioni del 15 per cento superiori rispetto agli standard attuali; contemporaneamente il peso sar\u00e0 abbassato del 15 per cento e l&#8217;ingombro di un altro 15 per cento. Il risultato sar\u00e0 un veicolo capace di percorrere oltre 800 km con un pieno di idrogeno e di raggiungere la velocit\u00e0 massima di 170 km\/h.<\/p>\n<p>I test in corso hanno definito la possibilit\u00e0 di percorrere fino a 200mila km senza inconvenienti, in linea con la qualit\u00e0 e l&#8217;affidabilit\u00e0 che i clienti si aspettano da Kia. Questo piano di sviluppo rientra nel programma di migliorare l&#8217;efficienza media della gamma Kia del 25 per cento rispetto ai valori del 2014 e, nell&#8217;ambito dello sviluppo di nuove tecnologie, di sostituire sette degli attuali dieci motori con una nuova generazione di propulsori a benzina e diesel, espandendo l&#8217;utilizzo della sovralimentazione.
