{"id":33275,"date":"2018-06-10T16:27:05","date_gmt":"2018-06-10T14:27:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/abmnews.com\/blog\/?p=33275"},"modified":"2018-06-10T16:27:05","modified_gmt":"2018-06-10T14:27:05","slug":"citroen-mehari-lauto-trasformista","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.abmnews.com\/blog\/citroen-mehari-lauto-trasformista\/","title":{"rendered":"Citroen Mehari l&#8217;auto trasformista"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>La piccola e leggera M\u00e9hari, con la sua carrozzeria interamente in plastica, fu davvero un\u2019auto versatile e trasformista, tanto da diventarea un\u2019icona leggendaria.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Quando De la Poype \u00a0 immagin\u00f2 la M\u00e9hari, pens\u00f2 ad una vettura adatta agli utilizzi pi\u00f9 svariati, dal divertimento al trasporto di cose o attrezzi da lavoro. Al designer Jean-Louis Barrault aveva dato un unico vincolo: le misure avrebbero dovuto essere quelle della piattaforma AK, su cui era stato sviluppato il piccolo veicolo commerciale Citro\u00ebn.<\/p>\n<p>Dal progetto usc\u00ec la vettura base: una cabriolet a due porte e due o quattro posti sulla cui parte posteriore era possibile ricavare uno spazio per le gambe dei passeggeri posteriori sistemati su un sedile pieghevole che quando non utilizzato formava un piano di carico unico, dal paraurti posteriore sino agli schienali dei sedili anteriori.<\/p>\n<p>Il parabrezza (abbattibile) conteneva gli ancoraggi per due ferri che si univano ad un arco (smontabile) che sormontava i sedili di conducente e passeggero anteriore. Su questa struttura si poteva montare un tettuccio in tela che creava un abitacolo per i passeggeri anteriori. Estendendo il telaio si arrivava a coprire anche i passeggeri posteriori ed il bagagliaio, ottenendo cos\u00ec una berlina a quattro posti.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Nel mezzo, infinite combinazioni con porte in tela o rigide, pannellature laterali in tela o anche carrozzerie in plastica rigida totalmente modulabili, disponibili nei colori della M\u00e9hari.<\/p>\n<p>Una vettura per fare tutto, ovunque, con qualunque tempo, con passeggeri o con il solo guidatore, su strada asfaltata, su sterrato o&#8230; anche in mancanza di una strada!<\/p>\n<p>La leggerezza della M\u00e9hari (poco pi\u00f9 di 550 kg in ordine di marcia) le permetteva di superare agevolmente i terreni accidentati. Inoltre gli pneumatici M+S da 135 per 15\u201d della Michelin le consentivano di non insabbiarsi e di uscire facilmente da pantani e terreni con scarsa aderenza. Tuttavia, per certi usi speciali, Citro\u00ebn pens\u00f2 fosse opportuno equipaggiarla con una trazione integrale.<\/p>\n<p>La M\u00e9hari non era la prima piccola Citro\u00ebn ad essere dotata di questa soluzione: prima di lei, nel 1958, il Double Chevron produsse la 2CV 4&#215;4, denominata (non ufficialmente) Sahara.<\/p>\n<p>Si trattava di una 2CV molto speciale dove, vista la scarsit\u00e0 di potenza disponibile, Citro\u00ebn aveva montato due motori, uno anteriore (al posto giusto) ed uno posteriore, in posizione invertita, ovvero con il cambio girato all\u2019indietro, che muoveva le ruote posteriori. Una frizione centrifuga sul motore posteriore permetteva di controllare la trazione sotto ai mille giri al minuto, disinserendo il secondo motore. Il comando dell\u2019acceleratore, quello della frizione e del cambio erano accoppiati e sincronizzati, semplificando la guida al conducente.<\/p>\n<p>Per la M\u00e9hari 4&#215;4, Citro\u00ebn us\u00f2 un sistema pi\u00f9 tradizionale ma non per questo meno sofisticato: data la potenza del motore quasi doppia rispetto a quello della 2CV, fu adottata una trasmissione tradizionale, con un albero collegato al cambio che azionava un differenziale collegato alle due ruote posteriori, equipaggiate con freni a disco analoghi a quelli anteriori.<br \/>\nIl conducente, oltre al normale comando del cambio a 4 rapporti, disponeva del comando che disinseriva la trazione posteriore e di una seconda leva che comandava il riduttore.<\/p>\n<p>Il peso aumentava sensibilmente, sia a causa della trasmissione posteriore sia per le generose piastre di protezione e passava da 550 a 715 kg, mentre quello a pieno carico andava da circa 900 a 1115 kg, con un carico utile di 400 kg.<\/p>\n<p>La presentazione della versione 4&#215;4 della M\u00e9hari avvenne a Nimes nel 1979. Al fianco di alcune vetture civili nel loro spettacolare Jaune Atacama, erano presenti delle pi\u00f9 discrete M\u00e9hari 4&#215;4 in verde militare, pensate per essere impiegate dall\u2019Esercito francese, cui furono contestualmente presentate e rese disponibili anche in versione paracadutabile, fissate su appositi pallet che contenevano tutto l\u2019equipaggiamento
