Gli spettatori e i commissari delle prove speciali devono infatti essere in grado di udire la vettura quando si avvicina. La Opel Corsa-e Rally con il suo originalissimo sound system debutter\u00e0 il 7-8 maggio nella gara di apertura dell\u2019ADAC Opel e-Rally Cup, il primo campionato monomarca mondiale per auto da rally elettriche.<\/p>\n<p>La necessit\u00e0 di montare un sound system sulla Opel Corsa-e Rally \u00e8 emersa con chiarezza fin dalle prime fasi del suo sviluppo. La federazione tedesca delle competizioni sportive automobilistiche obbliga le auto rally a essere udibili per la sicurezza di commissari e spettatori. Tuttavia, come in altri campi di questa rivoluzionaria formula del rally elettrico, nessuno aveva alcuna esperienza di sound system.<\/p>\n<p>Prima di tutto si \u00e8 dovuto affrontare il problema dell\u2019hardware, che deve essere potente e robusto. Gli altoparlanti disponibili sul mercato vengono solitamente installati all\u2019interno dei veicoli o degli edifici, per cui solo di rado sono impermeabili. Questa \u2018scatola nera\u2019 funziona grazie a un software appositamente scritto che converte i dati provenienti dal veicolo.<\/p>\n<p>Il sistema non dipende dalla velocit\u00e0, bens\u00ec dal regime di rotazione del motore, e permette quindi di avvertire il rotolamento delle ruote. L\u2019elaborazione dello schema definitivo del suono ha richiesto diversi mesi. Il software \u00e8 stato costantemente sviluppato e adesso si basa su un \u201csuono in folle\u201d da fermo che pu\u00f2 essere adattato a tutti i regimi.<\/p>\n<p>Il volume pu\u00f2 essere regolato a due livelli di potenza. Quando si percorrono le strade pubbliche, tra una prova speciale e la successiva, si utilizza la modalit\u00e0 silenziosa. Il volume viene messo al massimo solo durante le prove speciali. Secondo i regolamenti \u00e8 compito della squadra regolare il volume di conseguenza.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNon volevamo simulare il rumore di un motore a combustione interna, ma puntavamo a creare un sound elettrico originale e adatto a questo progetto\u201d, ha dichiarato J\u00f6rg Schrott, Opel Motorsport Director. \u201cSiamo molto contenti del risultato e siamo convinti che questo suono emozioner\u00e0 i tifosi durante le prove speciali, anche se \u00e8 volutamente diverso da quello di una classica auto da rally con motore a combustione interna\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Il sound system sar\u00e0 messo alla prova per la prima volta in gara il 7-8 maggio, nel corso dell\u2019evento inaugurale della stagione dell\u2019ADAC Opel e-Rally Cup, il 33\u00b0 ADAC ACTRONICS Rally
