La Casa dei quattro anelli \u00e8 pioniere della rivoluzione energetica nei rally raid e mira a lottare per la vittoria assoluta contro competitor dotati di motorizzazioni tradizionali. \u201cSchierandosi al via della Dakar, la Casa dei quattro anelli resta fedele alla propria filosofia di sviluppare nelle competizioni le tecnologie pi\u00f9 innovative, destinate alle future vetture di serie\u201d, afferma Julius Seebach, Amministratore Delegato di Audi Sport GmbH e Responsabile delle attivit\u00e0 sportive internazionali del Brand. \u201cNei rally, ad esempio, abbiamo affinato la trazione integrale quattro. Siamo stati la prima Casa automobilistica ad aver vinto la 24 Ore di Le Mans con un modello a propulsione ibrida. Ora, durante la Dakar, testeremo e porteremo al limite i componenti dei powertrain elettrici di domani\u201d. \u201cIl progetto Audi RS Q e-tron \u2013 prosegue Seebach \u2013 \u00e8 stato realizzato in tempi record e rappresenta la massima espressione del claim Vorsprung durch Technik (All\u2019avanguardia della tecnica)\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>La Dakar \u00e8 una competizione unica e costituisce una delle ultime grandi sfide motoristiche e ingegneristiche al mondo. L\u2019evento marathon dura due settimane e prevede tappe giornaliere lunghe sino a 800 chilometri. \u201cStiamo cercando di realizzare un\u2019impresa mai affrontata prima \u2013 sottolinea Andreas Roos, Project Manager Dakar di Audi Sport \u2013 Audi \u00e8 il primo costruttore al mondo a partecipare alla Dakar con un powertrain alternativo: ancora una volta, la Casa dei quattro anelli \u00e8 pioniere nello sviluppo d\u2019inedite soluzioni tecniche e di mobilit\u00e0\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Non essendo possibile ricaricare la batteria ad alto voltaggio nel deserto, Audi ha optato per una soluzione on board: l\u2019accumulatore, del peso di circa 370 chilogrammi e con una capacit\u00e0 di 50 kWh, viene rifornito d\u2019energia durante la marcia grazie all\u2019azione di un range extender. Funzione, quest\u2019ultima, affidata al performante quattro cilindri TFSI \u2013 turbo a iniezione diretta della benzina \u2013 derivato dal DTM, il Campionato Tedesco Turismo. \u201cQuesto motore \u2013 aggiunge Andreas Roos \u2013 \u00e8 straordinariamente efficiente e all\u2019avanguardia quanto a riduzione degli ingombri e delle vibrazioni. Verr\u00e0 utilizzato durante le prove speciali esclusivamente per generare energia destinata alla batteria. Ci\u00f2 significa che la propulsione del nostro prototipo \u00e8 elettrica al 100%\u201d. Audi prevede di percorrere in modalit\u00e0 full electric anche le interminabili sezioni di trasferimento caratteristiche del rally raid africano.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Audi RS Q e-tron \u00e8 dotata di tre powertrain derivati dalla monoposto Audi e-tron FE07 di Formula E, impegnata nella massima serie dell\u2019automobilismo sportivo a zero emissioni: due MGU (Motor Generator Unit), una in corrispondenza di ciascun assale, si occupano della trazione, mentre una terza unit\u00e0 agisce quale generatore per contribuire alla ricarica della batteria ad alto voltaggio, specie in frenata. Le MGU sono state adattate alle peculiarit\u00e0 della marcia nel deserto, dove condizioni ambientali e sollecitazioni sono radicalmente differenti rispetto ai circuiti cittadini.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa batteria \u00e8 stata sviluppata internamente, in collaborazione con un partner specializzato\u201d, spiega Stefan Dreyer, Responsabile Sviluppo Audi Sport per i progetti sportivi. \u201cIn quanto ingegneri, solitamente individuiamo del potenziale di miglioramento in qualsiasi componente. Nel caso della catena cinematica elettrica abbiamo raggiunto un\u2019efficienza di sistema superiore al 97%. Un risultato cui ha contribuito l\u2019esperienza in Formula E. Sotto questo profilo, i margini di sviluppo sono esigui. Diverso discorso per quanto riguarda la gestione della batteria e dell\u2019energia, fattori cruciali per il successo della mobilit\u00e0 elettrica. Il know-how che matureremo grazie al progetto Dakar andr\u00e0 a vantaggio dei futuri modelli BEV dei quattro anelli. Stiamo infatti lavorando a stretto contatto con i colleghi del reparto auto stradali\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Audi RS Q e-tron pu\u00f2 contare su di una potenza massima di sistema di 680 CV, anche se non \u00e8 stato ancora definito a livello regolamentare quanti cavalli potranno essere effettivamente sfruttati durante la Dakar. La propulsione elettrica garantisce molteplici vantaggi, a partire dalla rapidit\u00e0 d\u2019erogazione delle MGU che rende estremamente precisa ed efficiente la trazione integrale quattro elettrica. Il prototipo dei quattro anelli, dotato di trasmissione monomarcia, beneficia di una sensibile semplificazione meccanica rispetto ai competitor con motori tradizionali, rinunciando al classico albero di trasmissione e al differenziale centrale a vantaggio della riduzione delle masse e della possibilit\u00e0 di variare in pochi centesimi di secondo la strategia di ripartizione della spinta tra avantreno e retrotreno.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Audi RS Q e-tron si differenzia nettamente dai competitor anche nel design. \u201cLa vettura ha un aspetto futuristico ed evolve molteplici stilemi tipicamente Audi\u201d, afferma Juan Manuel Diaz, Team Leader Design Motorsport. \u201cIl nostro obiettivo \u00e8 rappresentare il claim \u2018All\u2019avanguardia della tecnica\u2019 sui campi di gara e al tempo stesso costituire una finestra sul futuro del Brand\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>La partecipazione alla Dakar vede protagonista il team Q Motorsport GmbH che curer\u00e0 lo sviluppo e la gestione del prototipo elettrico in collaborazione con Audi Sport. \u201cLa Casa dei quattro anelli ha sempre optato per soluzioni tecniche innovative e audaci, specie nelle competizioni. Audi RS Q e-tron \u00e8 senza dubbio la vettura pi\u00f9 complessa e avanguardistica che io abbia mai visto\u201d dichiara il team principal Sven Quandt. \u201cLa trazione integralmente elettrica prevede che molteplici sistemi dialoghino perfettamente tra loro per garantire performance e affidabilit\u00e0. Una sfida straordinaria considerando le condizioni ambientali e il terreno caratteristici dei rally raid\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Audi RS Q e-tron ha mosso i primi passi all\u2019inizio di luglio presso il Competence Center Audi Motorsport di Neuburg an der Donau. Entro la fine dell\u2019anno, la vettura affronter\u00e0 una nutrita serie di test e parteciper\u00e0 ad alcuni rally raid. \u201cAbbiamo stilato un programma di sviluppo dai ritmi serrati per rendere immediatamente competitivo il nostro innovativo prototipo\u201d afferma Andreas Roos. \u201cSono passati meno di dodici mesi dall\u2019avvio ufficiale del programma e abbiamo progettato la vettura quando le norme regolamentari per le auto a propulsione alternativa non erano state ancora definite.
